KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Chiefs improved to 4-0 after a 26-10 win over the Patriots on Monday night.

New England's defense held KC to just six points at halftime, but the Chiefs came alive in the second half. Patrick Mahomes was 19/29 for 236 yards and two touchdowns.

The Chiefs forced four turnovers, including a pick-six by Tyrann Mathieu to give Kansas City a commanding 16 point lead in the fourth quarter.

The Chiefs/Patriots game was moved to Monday night due to COVID-19 concerns within the New England Organization.

Kansas City is the first team in NFL history to start 4-0 in four straight seasons. KC has also now won a franchise record 13 straight games dating back to the 2019 season.

Up next - the Chiefs will host the Raiders Sunday at noon.
