  1. 2169 deaths divided by 131105 cases gives us an infection/mortality rate of 0.016%, which falls in the range of ordinary influenza. For this we have allowed our economy to be destroyed, and have forbidden normal social interaction. It is doubtful we will ever see a comparison of COVID deaths with the increased deaths from suicides, homicides, drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence etc. that are caused by such tyrannical measures. The cure is worse than the disease.
