Patrol finds body of missing boater at Lake of the Ozarks

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A dive team with the Missouri State Highway Patrol found the body of a missing boater at the Lake of the Ozarks on Friday.

According to the patrol's report, a person found an empty boat near the 54 mile mark in the main channel around noon.

Divers searched the area and found Dennis Jaeger, 73, of Mexico. Troopers said he was pronounced dead around 4:30 p.m.
