Moniteau Sheriff’s Department arrest man after traffic stop

MONITEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Moniteau County Sheriff's Department arrested Eric Miller, 36, of California, after a traffic stop Wednesday on Hwy U near Hwy 179.

Officials say Miller was found to currently be on probation/parole for burglary.

According to the press release, deputies noticed that Miller appeared to be nervous. Deputies then asked for and were granted consent to search of the vehicle.

In the release, deputies say they found meth, packaging materials, digital scales, drug paraphernalia and crushed pills identified as Adderall. Miller was then taken into custody and transported to the Moniteau County Sheriff’s Jail.

Miller faces the following charges:

  • Delivery of a controlled substance (meth)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Miller's bond is set at $50,000.
