Lincoln University Board of Curators approved the 2021 fiscal $34 million budget, $2 million more than they allocated originally.

The board approved the new budget Thursday.

The revised budget was due to the change in estimated core and match State Appropriation revenue.

The board also approved two Coronavirus Relief Grant Fund Projects for campus.

The grant funding will go toward HVAC control systems and installing building access controls.

The proposed HVAC system is to help provide fresh air for the buildings. According to board documents, the CDC says buildings need to have adequate ventilation to combat coronavirus.

The building access controls will help the university control the number of people/teams that access a building.

The next meeting of the Lincoln University Board of Curators will be on November 5, 2020.
