Large police presence on Clinkscales Road closes roads
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
There was a large police presence in the 100 block of Clinkscales Road in Columbia on Sunday.
ABC 17 News crews saw Columbia police and Boone County sheriff's deputies at the scene.
Boone County Joint Communication tweeted Sunday just after 9 p.m. the road was closed because of a police incident.
Columbia Police tweeted around 10:30 p.m. the road was blocked at Broadway and Ash.
Police cleared the scene shortly before 11 p.m.
An officer told our crews at the scene it was a misdemeanor assault. There was no threat to the community.
