HALLSVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)

One man was arrested after fleeing from police and leading them on a high-speed chase Saturday night.

Police said Skyler Dingwell, 26, ran from an officer with the Hallsville Police Department on a stolen motorcycle. He reached speeds over 100 mph.

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office joined the chase near the Interstate 70 and U.S. Highway 54 interchange in Kingdom City.

Dingwell continued to flee through Warren and Montgomery County.

He ultimately crashed in the 29000 block of Route B in Warrenton.

Dingwell was taken to University Hospital to be treated for minor injuries and was later released to the Boone County Jail.

He is now facing charges of stealing, first-degree tampering with a vehicle, unlawful possession of a firearm, resisting arrest, and leaving the scene.
