Chiefs reportedly sign Mahomes to 10-year extension

Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes is not leaving Kansas City any time soon. ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting the Chiefs and the 24-year-old quarterback have agreed to a 10-year contract extension on Monday.

Mahomes led the Chiefs to a win in Super Bowl LIV earlier this year. Schefter said Mahomes is locked in through the 2031 season since he has two years remaining on his current deal.

Schefter said the contract is worth up to $503 million, and it is the richest in sports history.
