SATURDAY UPDATES: Cole County reports new case of COVID-19
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
UPDATE 7:15 P.M.: The Cole County Health Department reported a new case of COVID-19 Saturday.
The county reported 11 active cases of the virus Saturday.
There have been 71 cases total in Cole County.
The Columbia/Boone County Health Department reported new cases of the virus Saturday as well.
The department reported 342 cases of the virus total.
The number of active cases on Saturday was 94.
ORIGINAL: The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 20,261 cases of COVID-19 Saturday.
That was a jump of 344 new cases from Friday.
The state saw six new deaths, raising the death toll to 996.
The department reported 680 hospitalizations associated with the virus across the state.
