SATURDAY UPDATES: Seven new deaths from COVID-19 reported in Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

UPDATE 5:00 P.M.: The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 15,810 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Missouri Saturday.

At least 879 deaths have been reported from the virus.

According to the department's COVID-19 dashboard, at least 269,796 people have been tested for the virus.

The department reported 647 people have been hospitalized from the virus.

ORIGINAL: The Columbia/ Boone County Health Department reported new cases of COVID-19 in the county on Saturday.

The health department has reported a total of 211 cases of the virus.

There were 38 active cases of the virus on Saturday.

According to the city's website, 171 people have been released from isolation.
