Man suffers life-threatening injury in Columbia stabbing

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia police are investigating after a man was stabbed Monday morning.

It happened in a wooded area near Highway 63 and Clark Lane around 8:45 a.m., according to a news release.


Police said a 42-year-old homeless man was taken to an emergency room with a life-threatening injury. Officers searched the area for evidence and other victims but said no other injuries were reported.

Police said they could not provide any additional information, but said it is an ongoing investigation.
