OSAGE BEACH, Mo. (KMIZ)

UPDATE: The Osage Beach Police Department canceled the endangered silver advisory just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

ORIGINAL: Osage Beach police have issued an alert to help find a missing 77-year-old woman.

Carolyn Sue Griffith was last seen going westbound on Highway 54 near Key Largo Road, police said in an endangered silver advisory. She was in a dark blue or dark green pickup truck, police say. The truck had a dark camper shell.

Griffith walked away from her residence after a fight with her daughter Tuesday afternoon, according to the advisory. Her daughter saw Griffith speak with the man in the truck and when the truck pulled away, Griffith was gone, police said.

Griffith is between 5 feet and 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 125 to 135 pounds and has long gray hair and green eyes.

Police said she was last seen wearing a gray, long-sleeve shirt and green pants and carrying a red Christmas sweater. Griffith has a hunched posture, police said. She suffers from dementia.

Authorities ask anyone with information about what happened to call 911, the nearest law enforcement agency or Osage Beach police at 573-348-1701.
