Mid-Missouri roads closed due to flooding

Crews worked to remove water from Bluff Creek Drive on Thursday.

Authorities closed some roads in Mid-Missouri due to flooding Thursday.

According to Cole County Public Works, flooding has impacted six roads in the area. The following roads are closed:

  • Campbell Road
  • Payne Road
  • North Branch Road
  • Waterford Road
  • Meadowsford Road
  • Vaughn Ford Road

In Columbia, crews closed Bluff Creek Drive in both directions after water covered the road.

The Missouri Department of Transportation said it closed Route H east of Stoutland in Camden County due to flooding.

MoDOT also closed Route BB in Morgan County due to water over the road.

Another round of storms is possible. The ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Team issued a Weather Alert Day for Thursday for potentially severe storms.
