KMIZ VEDIT

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two students were not hurt when their Jefferson City School District bus crashed Wednesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the 2011 International school bus driven by Jennie Crum 72, of Holts Summit, failed to yield to a 2011 Toyota RAV 4 in the roundabout at about 7:30 a.m. at Big Horn Drive and Old Lohman Road.

The bus hit the other vehicle, the patrol said.

The RAV 4 driver, Sarah Eslahi, 33, of Jefferson City, suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center, the patrol reported. Crum was not hurt.

JC Schools spokeswoman Ryan Burns said only two students were on board and were not hurt.
