Man found dead in Warrensburg early Saturday morning

WARRENSBURG, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Warrensburg Police department was called out to the 100 block of South College around 4:30 this morning after reports of a possible shooting.

Once on scene, officers discovered a man in his 20's with a gunshot wound. The victim, 29-year-old Joseph Campbell, was later pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Warrensburg Police Department's Facebook page, the suspect in the shooting turned himself into officers shortly after.

The suspect is described as a male in his 30's. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
