Sedalia police find body with gunshot wound in street

SEDALIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Sedalia Police found a deceased man with a gunshot wound in a street Saturday morning.

According to a post on Facebook, by the Sedalia Police Department, officers responded around 6:40 a.m. to the 700 block of East 17th Street to a report of a man lying in the roadway.

Upon arrival, officers found Robert G. Fox Jr. with a gunshot wound lying in the street.

Officials say a preliminary investigation is underway.

They ask anyone with information regarding the investigation contact Detective John Fellows at 660-827-7823 Ext. 1247
