Kam Scott to transfer away from Mizzou football

COLUMBIA, Mo. - A spokesperson for the Mizzou football team confirms that wide receiver Kam Scott will transfer away from the team. Scott has entered his name into the transfer portal.

Based on court records, officers arrested Scott on Feb. 1 for marijuana possession, operating a vehicle without a license and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to the records, Scott is due in court on April 28th.

In two seasons with the Tigers, Scott had 25 receptions for more than 500 yards and two touchdowns. However, Scott did not catch a touchdown pass in 2019.

Mizzou added four receivers in its 2020 recruiting class, and now Scott will be free to choose where he goes next. Teams from around the nation are now able to recruit him to their school, since Scott is in the transfer portal.
