Mizzou hoops upsets No. 11 Auburn

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou basketball team upset No. 11 Auburn 85-73 on Saturday night in front of a season-high crowd of 12,506.

MU guard Xavier Pinson finished with a career-high 28 points. Junior guard Dru Smith also had 28 points.

The Tigers shot 28-51 from the field and 7-13 from three-point range. Meanwhile, Auburn was 1-17 from behind the arc.

MU is now 10-3 at home. The Tigers have won their last three games on Norm Stewart Court.

MU hasn't beaten a Top 11 team in the nation since Feb. 19, 2013 when the Tigers beat No. 5 Florida.

MU is now 12-13 overall and 4-8 in the SEC. Up next - the Tigers will host Ole Miss on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
