Emergency crews work crash in west Columbia

Emergency crews worked a crash at I-70 Drive Southwest and Silvey Street on Friday night. — ABC 17 News

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

First responders worked a crash in west Columbia on Friday night.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. on I-70 Drive Southwest near Silvey street.

ABC 17 News saw police, firefighters and an ambulance at the scene. Boone County Joint Communications urged drivers to avoid the area.

ABC 17 News is working to confirm if anyone was injured and what caused the crash.
