Web Extra: Mizzou baseball motivated for season, despite postseason ban

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou baseball team will open up its season on Friday against Jacksonville State.

ABC 17 Sports Director Andrew Kauffman caught up with the team on Tuesday to preview the season. You can watch our extended interviews in the video player above.

The Tigers will not be able to play in the postseason due to the NCAA sanctions handed down on the program last year. Head coach Steve Bieser said his team plans to use the sanctions as motivation. His team's goal is to win 40 games and win the SEC regular season title.
