Interstate 70 bridge near Rocheport reopens
ROCHEPORT, Mo. (KMIZ)
Interstate 70 westbound at the Missouri River bridge near Rocheport has reopened, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
The Missouri Department of Transportation's Central District posted on Twitter at about 5:30 p.m. that all lanes of I-70 had opened again after being closed since about noon.
MoDOT Central District spokesman Adam Pulley said the amount of sheet metal and debris on the bridge from crashes earlier Wednesday had prolonged the time it took to reopen the bridge.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F had tweeted earlier that the bridge would reopen at about 4 p.m.
