MONITEAU COUNTY, Mo.

Moniteau County authorities arrested two people and identified a third person in connection with a robbery at a gas station from last month.

The Moniteau County Sheriff's Office said three men broke into a gas station early on Dec. 31 and took items including cigarettes, vape pens and alcohol.

A release from the sheriff's office said deputies were called to the Beeline gas station in Highpoint around 1:30 a.m. Deputies said glass was broken at the store.

Deputies were then called to California, Missouri, on Thursday to help with a weapons offense after juveniles allegedly assaulted officers. When they got to the scene, deputies found the juveniles had guns that were reported stolen out of California and also had some of the items reported stolen from Beeline gas station.

The two juveniles were taken to the juvenile detention center in Camdenton. Deputies also identified a third juvenile suspect in the case.
