COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Prosecutors charged a teenager who was arrested after a weekend shooting in Columbia.

Police arrested 18-year-old E'Kayleon Spain-Prince on Saturday morning. Prosecutors charged him Monday with unlawful use of a weapon and delivery of a controlled substance.

According to a probable cause statement, officers responded to Raleigh and Citadel Drives around 6 a.m. for reports of gunshots.

Officers spoke to witnesses who said they saw Spain-Prince pacing in the area before going into a home. They said he came out a short time later in different clothing.

Documents said officers searched Spain-Prince's home and found a stolen gun, digital scales, more than 100 grams of marijuana and a box for a pistol reported stolen out of Georgia. Officers also searched the living room and reportedly found a rifle reported stolen in Columbia.

According to online court records, his cash-only bond was set at $25,000.
