Former Mizzou standouts shine for Denver pro sports teams

Two former Mizzou standouts played well for their respective professional teams in Denver on Sunday.

Former MU quarterback Drew Lock led the Broncos to a 16-15 win over the Raiders. The Lee's Summit native is now 4-1 as a starter.

Lock was 17-for-28 for 177 yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, former Mizzou and Tolton star Michael Porter Jr. finished with a career-high 19 points and six rebounds in his first career start for the Nuggets.

He was 8-10 from the field. The Nuggets beat the Kings 120-115.
