Pizza deliverer robbed by 2 suspects at Campus View Apartments

ABC 17 News has confirmed a Papa Johns employee was assaulted at the Campus View Apartments in south Columbia.

Columbia Police Department officials said the Papa Johns employee was delivering pizza when two men wearing dark clothes approached her car.

Officials said the suspects demanded money and implied they had a gun before hitting the victim in the head.

The victim suffered minor injuries to the head but was not taken to the hospital.

Columbia Police Department officials used a K-9 unit to try and locate the suspects. CPD officials also said the Missouri State Highway assisted in the search.

The suspects are said to be two men wearing dark clothes.

Law enforcement was unable to locate the suspects and cleared the scene around 3 p.m.
