COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Crews are working a crash near the Highway 63-Interstate 70 connector in Columbia.

It was reported around 7:30 p.m. Monday. Columbia firefighters and police officers both responded to the scene on eastbound I-70 .

In a tweet, the Columbia Fire Department said a tractor-trailer jack-knifed, but no one was injured. Crews were working to contain a gas leak.

Boone County Joint Communications advised drivers to avoid the area if possible.

A tow truck arrived to the scene just before 8 p.m.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation traveler map, the closure is expected to last two hours.
