One woman dead after being struck by a vehicle in Crawford County

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

One woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle Saturday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a man was driving westbound on South Outer Road about a half of a mile from Highway H at the time of the crash.

The pedestrian, 36-year-old Melissa Stricklin of Leasburg, was pronounced dead on the scene.

MSHP Troop I investigated the fatal crash. This is the troop's first fatal crash in December and 35th fatality during 2019.
