Mizzou WBB falls to UMKC on the road

KANSAS CITY (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team lost to UMKC, 59-56, on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers are now 3-7 on the season.

Amber Smith led the Tigers with 12 points and four rebounds. Freshman Hayley Frank also had 12 points on 5-16 shooting. Fellow freshman Aijha Blackwell finished with 11 points, six assists and seven rebounds.

Up next - Mizzou has another in-state road matchup. The Tigers will play at Missouri State on Sunday at 3 p.m.
