Boone County investigating “suspicious” deck fire on Santa Barbara Dr.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) -

A fire burned through the floor of an outdoor deck on Santa Barbara Dr. Saturday afternoon.

An official with the Boone County Fire Protection District told ABC 17 News that no one was injured and that the fire is being investigated as suspicious.

Crews were called to the home in the 4400 block of Santa Barbara Dr. shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Boone County Fire Protection District or local law enforcement.
