Mizzou basketball bounces back against Temple

PHILADELPHIA - The Mizzou basketball team got a win it had to have after a disappointing loss to Charleston Southern.

The Tigers earned their best win of the season with a, 64-54, victory over Temple on the road. The win snaps a three-game losing streak and improves Mizzou's record to 5-4 overall.

Javon Pickett led the way with 16 points and five rebounds. Dru Smith added 12 points, six rebounds and three assists.

Mizzou's defense took over and held the Owls to just 9.5 percent shooting from three on the night. Mizzou also forced 19 turnovers to help seal the victory.

Next up for Mizzou, the Tigers have eight days off before returning to play Southern Illinois on Dec. 15.
