Police investigate ‘weapons offense’ in Jefferson City
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Police are investigating an incident involving a weapon on W. McCarty Street in Jefferson City.
Officers were in the 1300 block around 6 p.m. Thursday night.
In an email, Jefferson City Police Department's Lt. David Williams confirmed the department is investigating a "weapons offense" and said he anticipated a formal release later.
ABC 17 News saw crime scene tape up near an apartment complex.
We are working to confirm if any arrests have been made.
