State conservation workers rescue bald eagle

PARIS, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two Missouri Department of Conservation agents rescued an injured bald eagle in Monroe County.

MDC said agents responded to an area north of Paris, Mo. for a report of an injured bald eagle on Friday.

According to a Facebook post from MDC, the pair of agents sent the national bird to the University of Missouri. The eagle was observed and treated by MU's Raptor Rehabilitation Project.
