SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Springfield judge sentenced Dorial Green-Beckham to two years probation linked to a pair of charges from 2018.

Green-Beckham pleaded guilty Friday to resisting arrest and possession of 10 grams or less of marijuana. Online court records show the charges come from an incident in December 2018. Our ABC affiliate in Springfield, KSPR, reports Springfield police found the drugs during a search of his home.

The former University of Missouri student faced up to 180 days in jail. Green-Beckham was arrested for marijuana possession while he was a student at the school. He was kicked off the football team after the incident.
