Columbia road work causes traffic delays on I-70

Drivers saw some traffic Wednesday morning on Interstate 70 as Missouri Department of Transportation crews finished overnight pavement improvements.

One lane remains closed this morning on westbound I-70 west of the Rt. 63 in Columbia as crews finalize overnight pavement improvements that have been delayed. Traffic is backed up and motorists can expect some delays on I-70. pic.twitter.com/vWGlVfIyJC
The congestion was located in the westbound lanes of I-70 just west of the Highway 63 interchange.
The road work was pushed back from last week due to winter weather.
