Moberly man dies after Chariton County crash

A Moberly man died Saturday after his car went off the roadway.

Brandon Vanbibber, 35, died Saturday following a Friday night crash.

According to crash reports, the crash happened on Highway 24, just six miles east of Salisbury.

Vanbibber was driving eastbound when his car went off the right side of the road. The car overturned and ejected him.

Vanbibber died from his injuries at University Hospital in Columbia Saturday morning.

A woman was also in the car at the time of the crash. She suffered moderate injuries.

Highway Patrol said neither person was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
