Crews work semi crash on I-70

Emergency crews responded to a crash involving a semi in Boone County on Friday night.

It happened in the westbound lanes near Route Z just before 8:45 p.m., according to online dispatch records.

Boone County Joint Communications tweeted about the wreck, urging drivers to avoid the area.

BOONE CO JOINT COM: Motor Vehicle Collision I70 W near Rte Z. Use caution, avoid area if possible.
