The Pettis County Sheriff's Office said a female inmate at the Pettis County jail died after she became unresponsive in a booking cell Saturday.

Investigators with the sheriff's office and the Pettis County Coroner's Office said Modina Bradshaw, 44, had been in the jail since Nov. 6.
