Columbia police said one man was shot in connection with a home invasion Saturday night.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Eastland Circle, off of Business Loop 70.

The victim was taken to University Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound after officers arrived. Police did not say if the victim was a resident of the home but confirmed they were not one of the suspects.

"The suspects are at large at this point," said Sgt. Patrick Corcoran. He did not immediately provide a description but said one may become available in the future.

  1. The news article what there is of it has a statement of anyone with any information on this should call the police, isn’t that obvious? Sometimes I wonder if the world around me.

    1. Sometimes its not, some people don’t want to get involved if they aren’t told to cotact someone. Its silly but many people are too nervous to.
