One person shot after home invasion on Eastland Circle

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) -

Columbia police said one man was shot in connection with a home invasion Saturday night.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Eastland Circle, off of Business Loop 70.

The victim was taken to University Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound after officers arrived. Police did not say if the victim was a resident of the home but confirmed they were not one of the suspects.

"The suspects are at large at this point," said Sgt. Patrick Corcoran. He did not immediately provide a description but said one may become available in the future.

Anyone with information on this incident should call the Columbia Police Department.
