Heavy rain brings possible traffic impacts for Columbia commute

Boonville Roads
Rain across mid-Missouri leaves roads wet for the morning commute.

Rain in mid-Missouri is leaving roads slick for Wednesday morning's commute.

ABC 17 News crews monitored road conditions throughout Columbia and Boone County. Drivers should be sure to take it slow heading out the door with rains causing poor visibility and slippery road conditions.

Temperatures have managed to stay above freezing in the area, leaving little chance for any freezing precipitation.
