Flooding closes sections of Cole County roads

UPDATE 10/11: Crews in Cole County have closed parts of two more roads due to flooding.

5500 block of Loesch Road
5900 block of Bainer Road

The public works department also opened the below section of the road:

7600 block of Campbell Road

ORIGINAL STORY: Sections of several Cole County roads were closed Thursday because of flooding.

County officials said Thursday afternoon that flooding caused the closure of the following blocks:

7600 block of Campbell Road
8700 block of Payne Road
11100 block of North Branch Road
1400 block of Waterford Road
1300 block of Murphy Ford Road
2800 block of Meadowsford Road
7400 block of Vaughn Ford Road
