Several arrested in Miller County accused of selling fentanyl

Four people were arrested in Osage Beach Thursday all accused of buying and selling fentanyl.

On Oct. 3, the Osage Beach Police Department and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force were tipped off to a person living in the 800 block of Highway D who was allegedly selling fentanyl. According to a press release, authorities executed a search warrant for the home and car registered to Jill Parry, 28.

Investigators say they found 9 grams of the opioid. Parry and another woman, Alicia Burton, 28, were taken into custody.

Court documents show the same day, officers say Parry allowed police to use her phone to contact Amber Rodriguez and Layne Elmore, who were allegedly going to sell fentanyl to Parry. The pair agreed to meet Parry and sell her $200 worth of the drug.

Investigators say they agreed to meet up with Rodriguez and Elmore at a gas station in Eldon. Court documents show officers found pills filled with a white powder and drug paraphernalia inside Rodriguez’s car.

Police say the pair admitted they intended to steal from Parry.

Rodriguez, Parry, and Elmore all face a charge of delivery of a controlled substance.
