Police investigate armed home invasion robbery in Columbia

Columbia police were investigating a home invasion robbery with a gun Tuesday.

Police were called to Appletree Court in South Columbia just before 5:30 a.m. Monday.

The victim told police the robbers were armed and stole items from the home. It is unclear what items were stolen.

No one was hurt during the alleged home invasion.

Police said they have no suspects but are continuing to investigate.

ABC 17 News crews on scene saw at least six Columbia Police Department cruisers on the 200 block of Appletree Court.
