Montgomery City man dead following motorcycle crash

Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a deadly crash in Montgomery County.

Troopers say Randall Shepard, 65, died following a crash in Montgomery County.

According to Highway Patrol crash reports, Shepard was traveling southbound on Highway 19 on his Honda motorcycle. Another car apparently made a left turn into the path of the motorcycle just north of Highway 94. The motorcycle hit the car and Shepard was thrown off the motorcycle.

Emergency crews transported Shepard to University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Three people were in the car at the time of the crash. None of them suffered more than minor injuries.
