Man accused of lewd acts at McDonald’s sentenced to prison
A man accused of masturbating in front of children at a Columbia fast-food restaurant was sentenced this month to three years in prison.
Judge Brouck Jacobs sentenced Gregory Wolfe to three years in prison each on two counts of sexual misconduct involving a child younger than 15 and 60 days in jail on a count of first-degree sexual misconduct. The two counts involving children are felonies and the third count is a misdemeanor.
Wolfe received credit for time served, and he will serve the sentences concurrently.
Police arrested Wolfe in May 2018 after he was accused of masturbating in front of two 12-year-old girls in the McDonald’s restaurant on Stadium Boulevard. He pleaded guilty to the charges in March.
He also was charged with second-degree sexual misconduct, a misdemeanor, in a separate case in which he was accused of touching himself while a worker at University Hospital gave him a bath last September. He pleaded guilty in that case in March and was sentenced to 15 days in jail.
