Two teens charged in Mexico killing
Two more people were charged on Friday in connection with a Mexico, Missouri, killing from February.
Demetric D. Dorsey and Trebion R. Dorsey were both charged with second-degree murder, first degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action for the killing. Both teens were certified as adults last week, according to the Audrain County prosecutor.
Demetric , Trebion and Dekhise Dorsey, who was charged in connection with the murder in February, were allegedly at a child’s birthday party when they got in a fight with 27-year-old Tajuan Williams.
Officers arrived at Muldrow Street and found Williams with a gunshot wound to his torso, according to a probable cause statement. Williams was conscious at the time and told police “the Dorseys” shot him, the statement said.
Williams later died at the SSM-Audrain emergency room.
One witness said Demetric pulled out a handgun and shot Williams, the probable cause statement said. However, another witness said Demetric had a handgun, and someone else shot Williams.
All three teens turned themselves in in February. Demetric and Trebion refused to be questioned.
