Woman rescued in fall at Pinnacles
Rescuers were sent to the Pinnacles Youth Park in Boone County on Monday afternoon after a woman fell about 15 feet down a ridge.

The rescue involved nearly 25 Boone County Fire Protection District firefighters. Crews used ropes to lower the woman down the rock bluff that was almost 50 feet tall.
The 22 year old woman was taken to the hospital with lower leg injuries, said Boone County Fire Protection District Assistant Chief Gale Blomenkamp.

The woman had a leg injury and was alert and responsive. She fell about a third of the way down a cliff, rescuers said.
