Two men arrested on stealing charges in Adair County

Two men were arrested on stealing and other charges Monday in Adair County.

According to the Adair County Sheriff’s Office, Richard Bunch and Billy Bachman were arrested after deputies conducted a warrantless search in the Crest Trail area.

Both men face charges of stealing a firearm and stealing a motor vehicle. Bachman also faces misdemeanor charges of delivery and possession of a controlled substance along with 12 felony counts of unlawful possession and unlawful use of a firearm.

The sheriff said this is an active case with more suspects to be interviewed and more charges to be filed.
