One person in custody after Columbia vehicle theft
Boone County deputies said they have one person in custody after a vehicle was reported stolen out of Columbia.
Authorities said the car’s in-vehicle safety and security system, On Star, led them to Eastland Circle around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Columbia Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol were involved in the incident.
Deputies did not release the name of the person in custody.
