Georgia man arrested on gun, drug charges in Boone County
A Georgia man was arrested on weapon and drug charges Saturday in Boone County.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol arrest reports, Brannon Scales, 26, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of an illegal firearm when troopers found a 12-inch barrel shotgun in his car.
Scales also faces charges of possessing a weapon and felony controlled substances, felony possession of marijuana and methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also faces charges for speeding.
Scales is being held in the Boone County Jail on a $38,500 bond.
