City Council to vote on CPD building remodeling project

Funds from the Police Records Management System Capital Improvement Project may be moved to the Police Downtown Building Remodel Capital Improvement Project due to additional improvements.

According to documents from the Columbia City Council, the council will be reading and voting on the measure Monday evening.

The council memo said that while the remodel project was going on, workers discovered an issue with the gas line piping. The funding would also go toward additional floor preparation electrical work and wall patching.

The ordinance would appropriate $10,708.43 from the Police Records Management System Capital Improvement Project to the Police Downtown Building Remodel Capital Improvement Project.

The City Council meeting will take place Monday at 7 p.m.
